1986 Ralt RT-5 Formula Super Vee
Raced in FSV Pro Series.
$30,000
History
This Ralt, chassis #677, was raced in the Formula Super Vee (FSV) Pro Series, with driver Paul Dallenbach.
The current owner purchased the Ralt from its original owner in 1998, and ran the car in the 90th Anniversary Event ‘Race to the Clouds’ Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2012 (see video below).
Aside from transitioning the 1600cc engine to an 1800cc, and the addition of driver oxygen equipment for Pikes Peak, the car is original as raced by Paul Dallenbach.
The engine was rebuilt in 2015. It has not been raced since Pikes Peak, and will need to be serviced before returning to the track. It has been stored in a climate controlled shop and has available spares (front and rear uprights, axles, suspension bits, wheels – (2) COMPOMOTO 3-piece DIY wheels with centers and various width third members, radio to car setup and tire warmers).
#677 can be purchased as a package with the 1985 Ralt RT-5 Formula Super Vee #510.
