Description

New tub and complete rebuild in 2021, including the Hewland FT200 gearbox. The suspension was also crack checked. All new rod ends, new hoses, and new wiring were installed. The shocks were rebuilt as well. There are six races on the car since this rebuild.

The March now runs a Jennings 2 liter Cosworth with Webers. The engine has three races on it.  The current owner shifts at 9100 rpm for longevity. The actual redline is 9,500 rpm.  The March was last raced in May, 2025.

The belts good through 2030. The fire bottle will need recertification. The March will also come with set up sheets.

These March 79B cars are fabulous to drive. The were top notch flat bottom cars cars in period, and remains so today in Historic FA and F2 racing. We raced one for several years, gathering some race wins along the way. The next owner won a prestigious hill climb with the same car in South Africa.

The new A2V Formula Atlantic, F2, and Super Vee Series in the U.S. and Canada is a perfect place to race this highly competitive car. You can also run at the front with your local club and across the U.S. in the Wings & Slicks category. We think this is a fast, front running car, and for not a lot of money.
