Built in period by Rocketdyne engineers Paul Coffman and Johnny Holland. Documented early history, including log books and period photos. Numerous period race wins and podium finishes in SCCA G Production regional and national events.

Description

No expenses spared, ground-up restoration on documented car. Frame-off restoration on media-blasted frame and straight, rust-free, body. Rebuilt, 0-hours, period correct 1147-cc race motor with Venolia aluminum pistons, lightened rods, Barker head, high-lift cam and custom-engineered rigid engine mounts. Drivetrain includes close-ratio gearbox, locker rear-end. Custom dual master cylinder brake system. Fully rebuilt suspension system includes original Koni shocks (fully restored by Truechoice), all new bushings, fittings, hardware as well as powder coated front springs. Modern upgrades include: compact, compound starter; single-wire alternator; new custom 10-gallon Fuel Safe bladder tank, mounted low in the trunk with electric fuel pump/filter and steel braided fuel lines; 10-lb electrically actuated Fire system; and new Schroth 5-point harness system.

Time warp car, with original race seat reupholstered in leather, all original race gauges including Smith chronometric tach center mounted on column in custom period binnacle, as well as original period remote switch panel mounted at arms length on driveshaft tunnel. New custom Lexan windscreen by Aircraft Windshields, made from original period mould.

Car is complete, runs and only requires final set-up and fettling. Spares include an unrestored race motor, gearbox and rear-end.
