1965 TVR Griffith 200

Description

This original 1965 TVR Griffith 200 (VIN 200/5/058) is confirmed by Mike Mooney as a true Griffith and is featured in Mike Mooney’s book “The Griffith Years”. The car weighs 800 kg (+/-), has over 340 hp delivered by its original 289 Ford v8. Many upgrades have been performed with original standards, attention to detail, and with an extra eye on safety. There is a lot of documentation and restoration pictures many included below.

The car has full FIA papers and has been used for a number of historic racing events as several assorted windscreen scrutineer stickers attest. The car recently ran at Silverstone, Spa Classic, and Mallory Circuit. The car has not been in an accident and shows no signs of previous damage repairs. The engine was rebuilt 585 miles ago with compression check and dyno sheet information below in the photo gallery. This TVR truely has the best of both worlds as you can run the car in just about any historic racing organization, is street legal, and currenly located in Seal Beach, CA.
