Description
This 510 features a Rebello L18 engine with only three hours on it. The engine has new forged pistons with the long Honda rod conversion. Dyno test results show 283 h.p. and 183 lbs.ft. torque. Fluids are fed to the engine through Aeroquip lines.
The transmission is a dog-ring gearbox. It has only two weekends on it since a Troy Ermish refresh. The car also comes with multiple limited slip rear end options. A 4.38 LSD is currently installed. There are two other spare OS Giken LSDs: a 4.10 and a 3.90. These, alone, are valued at approximately $3,000 each.
The suspension is fully adjustable with spherical bearings throughout. Koni racing shocks are employed up front with QA1 adjustable shocks at the rear with ride height control. The car comes with spare sets of Libra-style racing wheels.
The cockpit features a custom aluminum dash with integrated gauges. The car is also wired for a cool suit.
This is an original 510 race car with rarely seen racing history to day one. It is also a top level prepared and maintained historic 510. It is ideal for historic B-Sedan racing with CSRG, SOVREN, VARA, SVRA, HMSA, and other historic racing series across the U.S. It is also an excellent choice, with its period and continuous racing history, to receive invitations to premier events such as the Rolex at Monterey, and the Velocity Invitational.
Regardless of where you race this historic 510, you can expect sizable grids of similar cars, great racing, and lots of fun.
The 510 is currently located in Northern California.
