1989 Reynard 89H Formula Atlantic

Toyota 1600 c.c.

$28,500. Mid-pack Formula Ford money for a carbon tub Formula Atlantic

History

This Reynard was campaigned in SCCA Pacific Northwest Region Formula Atlantic races. It was used for regionals, and the Rose Cup races at Portland International Raceway. Overall there are very few races on the chassis, and the car remains in very good condition.

The 89H comes with its SCCA Logbook and International Conference of Sports Car Clubs Technical Inspection Logbooks.

Description

Chassis 104 is built around a modern carbon fiber tub. It has pushrod suspension front and rear with Penske shocks. The car’s 1600 c.c. Toyota Atlantic engine produces approximately 240 h.p. on 48 DCOE Webers.

Spares include one spare set of wheels, one set of rain tires, one spare rear wing, spare front winglets, and other support spares.

This is a solid opportunity to get into a low time, gently raced, club Formula Atlantic to use in historic racing, or with SCCA. You can get it for less than a third of what they traded for when raced in period.

We’re going to sell the car. Someone is going to get it.
