LeGrand Mk. 10 – Formula Ford

From the owner:

This LeGrand Mk. 10 was an “under the tarp” find up in Eureka. Complete restoration. Chassis and suspension were restored by Troy Stevens. 3 new main tubes, new hoop. Has old hoop with Cal Club number stamp from the late ’60s or early ’70s. In Legrand registry as 1970, no race history we could find as most Cal Club records were lost. New control arms. New Spax shocks, new fuel cell, new fire system, new gauges, new belts. I put the motor together. It has stock crank (polished and crack checked), stock rods, JE pistons from IVY. IVY carb.  Assembled and dyno by Ivy. 109 HP.

Gearbox set up by Mike Meindorfer. Currently has Sears gearing.

New aluminum radiator

New nose with new spare, new engine cover. New mirrors and paint. Panasport wheels.

Dyno time and 10 laps at Thunderhill from new.

Needs seat and fuel/tires to race.

No spare gears
