Description
The Merlyn was the subject of a frame-up restoration in 2009-2010, including a new chrome moly frame. The original frame will come with the car. The car still retains its original chassis tag.
There are five weekends (approximately 6-8 hours) on the Merlyn’s 1600 c.c. Loyning dry sump Lotus Twin Cam with 45 DCOE Webers. The power is driven through a Hewland Mk6 five speed gearbox.
The Merlyn is equipped with Panasport wheels, and Koni shocks. The gauges are period correct Smiths gauges. The seat belts are good to 2025.
Spares include some original wheels and a passenger seat with restraints.
The Merlyn has had very little track time in the last 10 years.
For additional information and photos of this Merlyn please see the prior Petrolicious listing. That listing was from several years ago when the car was priced at over $110,000. Since then the car has only raced a couple of times. The car has been pro-maintained throughout its last two owners.
